The Way up to Heaven by Roald Dahl B1E (updated)


Earlier this year we read the short story by Roald Dahl Lamb to Slaughter. This week we are going to read another of his short stories, The Way up to Heaven, first published in The New Yorker in 1954
Read and listen the story here.








Your  next two assignments:
  • Read about twenty lines from the story. Make sure you listen to it a few times before. Record and send by Thursday 21st
  • Write a brief essay comparing the two stories by Roal Dhal we have read this year.You can read Lamb To Slaughter here  Deadline: Sunday 24th
