9/11 ANNIVERSARY
The day that shocked the world
Ten years ago the world looked on in shock as terrorists flew hijacked passenger planes into New York City's mighty twin towers, destroying the iconic buildings and killing more than 2,700 people. Two further planes crashed into the Pentagon, Virginia and a field in Pennsylvania.
